Amanda
Managing Director
"I am committed to providing our community with a platform where people can discover, explore and celebrate their creativity and abilities in meaningful and empowering ways."
Amanda brings over a decade of experience in the mental health and disability sectors, supported by a background in childcare and child protection.
Her passion for inclusion, creativity and person-centred support led to the creation of Humble Ambitions, formerly known as Yours Goals Together and later pairing up with Lana to create This Ability Press.
In 2020, Amanda founded Humble Ambitions with a vision of creating a community where individual needs are genuinely understood and supported. Built on the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience purpose, connection and an enhanced quality of life, Humble Ambitions is committed to ensuring every person feels seen, heard, valued and empowered to pursue their own goals and aspirations.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, keeping active, exploring nature and seeking out artistic experiences that inspire new ideas and creative thinking.
Amanda holds qualifications in Mental Health, Community Services, Leisure and Health, and Children's Services, and is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure best practice across all aspects of her work.

Felicity brings over a decade of experience in the mental health sector, complemented by a background in Art Therapy.
She approaches every person with kindness, empathy and a holistic perspective, recognising that everyone's journey is unique and supporting each individual to work towards their goals at a pace that feels right for them.
With a keen eye for creativity and detail, Felicity has a wonderful gift for inspiring others through art. Her calm, encouraging nature helps members build confidence, explore new skills and discover the joy that creativity can bring.
Outside of work, Felicity enjoys art and crafts, music, bushwalking, ocean swimming, travelling and camping, gardening, creative writing, and spending time with her dog.

Lana

Lana brings over a decade of counselling experience to her support role. As a five-time published author and co-founder of This Ability Press, she is passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities to bring their creative projects to life and discover confidence in their own voices.
Known for her compassionate and dedicated approach, Lana consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every person feels genuinely supported and never left behind. She has an exceptional eye for detail and takes great pride in achieving the best possible outcome, thoughtfully considering each person's unique circumstances and working alongside them to overcome challenges and reach their goals.
Outside of her professional life, Lana enjoys swimming, immersing herself in the beauty of nature, appreciating trees, flowers and wildlife, and expressing her creativity through writing, music and drawing.

In his spare time, Jared enjoys hiking and immersing himself in nature, as well as indulging in music, food and gaming. He values learning from and meeting new people, and he cherishes quality time spent with family and friends, appreciating the small joys in life.

Sarah has a wonderfully bubbly, caring and friendly personality.
She is amazingly creative, full of ideas and passion.
Sarah is a valued member of our team, bringing her Certificate IV in Business Administration to lead much of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly.
Alongside her administration role, Sarah also draws on her lived experience to help warmly welcome and support people as a Direct Support Professional. Her combination of practical skills, understanding, and compassion helps ensure everyone feels supported and at home with us.

In her free time, Meg enjoys swimming, snorkeling, attending live music, reading horror novels, and watching horror movies. She has two house-trained rabbits named Biscuit and Bean.
Meg holds extensive qualifications relevant to her role and has experience supporting people with mental health challenges. Combined with her lived experience, she brings empathy, insight, and a strong commitment to creating safe and supportive spaces for others.
